A Train Crash Survivor Recalls the Moment of Impact and Its Aftermath

A survivor recounts a train accident in vivid, unflinching detail: the long wait inside a stalled carriage, the sudden and violent impact, and the desolate scene of burned and overturned cars that followed. The account also reflects on the randomness of fate and how the memory lingers afterward.

■ The Moment of Impact
- Waiting approximately fifteen minutes among sleeping passengers before the collision
- The sheer force of the hit and being thrown forward in the carriage
- The impossibility of reacting in time to protect oneself

■ The Scene After the Crash
- Carriages found burned out and overturned
- Injured survivors being pulled from the wreckage
- Bodies of the deceased placed nearby

■ Surviving the Memory
- Viewing survival as a matter of chance
- Recurring thoughts about those who were less fortunate
- What remains for those left behind

This account is suited to listeners interested in firsthand disaster testimony and the human experience behind accident reporting. It offers a close look at how a survivor processes trauma, memory and the awareness of luck, without covering rescue operations, causes of the accident or medical outcomes.
