Iran War Update: US Midterm Plans, Regional Attacks and Carrier Deployment

I cover the latest developments in the US-Israel war with Iran, including President Trump’s remarks on possible strikes and the state of US-Iran negotiations. The report also examines Houthi attacks in Saudi Arabia and the return of the USS Abraham Lincoln after its Middle East deployment.

- US-Iran diplomacy: Trump’s statement on strikes before the midterms, reports of Pentagon planning, and the nuclear and Strait of Hormuz negotiations
- Regional conflict: Reported Houthi attacks on Saudi airports and the wider security implications
- US forces: The Abraham Lincoln’s deployment and the arrival of another aircraft carrier in the Middle East

For viewers following US foreign policy, regional security, or energy and transport risks, this update provides a concise overview of the developments covered, rather than a full history of the conflict. Follow future reporting on negotiations, attacks on infrastructure, and changes in US deployments to track how the situation evolves.
